Good food

This is one of the best places to eat in Cherokee, the staff are attentive and eager to please. The food is delicious and the portions are large. The fajitas are my favorite and the cheese sauce yummy! The restaurant is clean...even the ladies room. Carlos the manager is friendly and will help you with any problem. All around I give them All thumbs up!!!

Chips were OK. Salsa was good and taco was amazing. Didn’t expect to find great Mexican food in Cherokee. We went there twice in a week.

The beef in the enchiladas was extremely bland. Nachos were great.

Sometimes you have a meal that you don't want to ever end. That sums up this place. The lunch cheese steak taco was absolutely delicious. Wonderful flavor and fresh. The salsa here is also really, really good. I would not hesitate to eat here again. Very authentic and very good.

Born and raised in Texas, you're always on the lookout for awesome Mexican food when traveling or living outside the great state of Texas. And who knew! Up in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina in Cherokee is just that place! We do our best to visit a couple times a year to tank up on freshly prepared enchiladas, tacos, burritos, etc. The waiters are top notch and keep the chip basket filled. PLUS The restaurant is practicing social distancing and mask wearing. There is also a bottle of hand sanitizer on the tables. About as close to TexMex as you can get...only better!

We ordered take out because we were just passing through. Very nice servers, the food was quick and tasted so good. The guacamole and chips were my favorite.

Went in for dinner last night. At the time the place wasn't busy. Got greeted promptly and was given the chips and salsa right away. I ordered the chicken fajita nachos and my hubs had a chalupa. I thought the nachos were pretty tasty. He liked the chalupa after getting into it.( If u are used to ordering them from taco Bell, definitely not the same thing lol). Would give another shot if in the area

We were visiting from out of town so we decided to stop here to eat. Everything was good. Good food and friendly people. I would definitely eat here again when we are back in town. The salsa is amazing so make sure you get some. The cheese dip is amazing too.

Stars are for food. I did not go in due to the covid-19. My food was good. It was still hot and fresh when I arrived back at my hotel.

1000% Will visit again!!!! Not only did they have a gluten free menu but all 3 of us LOVED our food choices which is difficult to achieve. We live in Florida so it won't be for another year that we drive through town for family vacation but we're already looking forward to this amazing food and service. Really wish local Florida food was this good. Can't say enough good things!

I ate there last night and was disappointed with my selection. I ordered the "special Don Chente" steak quesadilla. It was $10.00 so I figured it would be somewhat hearty since it didn't come with anything else like beans, rice. It was skimpy. It was flat, bland, and very little filling. Served on some lettuce with a huge dollop of sour cream. Only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because I had to order tacos to go in order to feel full. The ground beef tacos were stuffed full with lots of meat. The 2 tacos were far more satisfying and half the price.

Great place for Mexican food! We stopped here while visiting Cherokee and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. I am glad that we did. It was wonderful. There is plenty of parking and lots of tables inside (both tables and booths). We were seated and served quickly and the staff was very friendly and professional. The food was prepared quickly, was delicious and there was a lot of it. I highly recommend this restaurant for hungry people in the area

Really good food but poor service

The food is good however during our most recent visit our server complained about us to another table, not knowing we speak some Spanish, which the other table made comments about us being rude and ignorant. Overall food is great and timely, our server acted like we were inconveniencing him to place our order or ask for the rest of it when only a part of it was brought out.

Great place to eat. Very good food and friendly staff. If you like hot stuff, ask for the habanero sauce for your chips, it is very good. The tacos de asada were very good and tender. The chicken quesadilla is very good as well.

The food had no flavor, I mean none, and over priced for the amount of food they give you. I ask for some hot sauce and got when I was almost done. The hot tasted like water. No hot at all, and the only reason I ask for it was to put some flavor in the food. The ice tea was really good tho. Bottom line is they suck. Much much better places to go in Sylvia. Much better. Taco Bell has better food, by far. WORDPS. I'm not a tourist, I live here. It's a tourist trap because there's not much in that area to choose from, unless you want fast food. Which would be better than that place.

The chori gueso was really good.

The service was very slow, but the food was delicious. My burrito was huge and the steak filling was cooked just right. The cheese dip we had with our chips was also delicious.

Fajitas was ok, but Chicken Enchiladas were pretty awful with runny white sauce. I opted for white/cheese sauce vs red sauce. Very watery and bland. Chicken was boiled and bland.

It was fantastic. The food was very good.& the service was awesome. Can't wait to go again.

We ate here after reading all the reviews saying how great it was, but to us it was your normal Mexican restaurant. Our restaurant rating system is either we got to go there again next time or we will try something else next time we are here. So we would eat somewhere else next time. I usually only review the great ones but wanted to do this because of all the people saying how good it was is why we stopped.

Finally found some good Horchata! Service was great... prices were cheap and food was awesome. They have a stellar lunch menu with good combos. The chips and salsa are very good and fresh too. Will definitely return!

Nice place to eat while in Cherokee, N.C. Hand Sanitizer on every table, Face Mask Required on entry. All employees were warring mask also. Tables set for Social distaning.

We stopped by this restaurant for dinner before heading back to Gatlinburg, TN. The waiter was very friendly, and the food here was pretty good and authentic.

Food was spectacular! Loaded with flavor. Manager walking the floor assuring you were pleased with your food was impressive, waitress had short attention span, but was polite.

Omg this place is the best!! Wish I would have went earlier in my trip. Fast and friendly service. Excellent food. Not too busy but I can see it can get busy. Def want to stop here if you are coming to the casino and not wanting to pay casino food prices.
